Internet & connectivity
Internet that fits the location and the job.
We deliver Internet access across Switzerland and Liechtenstein, with additional locations assessed individually. We combine the available last mile with network operations, our own addressing and engineering support wherever we have direct control.
Internet starts with the location, not the product name
The right access method depends on the building, available infrastructure and operating requirements. We qualify the site and use fibre, fixed-line access, mobile connectivity or other suitable access technologies depending on what is available.
Reliable Internet access using a suitable local access technology.
Static addressing, IPv6 and technical requirements beyond a typical consumer line.
A second path or different access technology where a site should not depend on one connection.
Router, firewall and managed wireless can be part of the overall solution.
More than reselling somebody else's line
Internet access inevitably includes components supplied by local access networks or technical partners, particularly the physical last mile. Connectionpoint nevertheless operates substantial parts of the network above that layer. Where possible we use our own IP resources and maintain direct control over routing and operations.
The backbone is operated by our engineering team.
This lets us go deeper than a pure sales chain when routing, addressing or business connectivity becomes part of the problem.
What we need for a proposal
Installation address and relevant building/unit details.
Required speed and whether the circuit is business-critical.
Requirements for static IPv4, routed prefixes or IPv6.
Whether a second physically or technically independent path is required.
