Handover, IP addressing, ASN, prefix list, BGP parameters and the test procedure are documented.
BGP / IP transit
We provide BGP transit for businesses, datacenter customers, MSPs, ISPs and organisations operating their own ASN. Onboarding and support are handled by the engineering team that operates the underlying network.
The customer announces agreed IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes that it owns or is authorised to use for the service.
Full routes, a default route or an agreed combination are selected according to the service design.
Multiple BGP sessions and separate handovers can be designed where the location and service support them.
Port, handover medium and required capacity are agreed technically before provisioning.
We review the ASN, prefix authorisation, required routes, filters, RPKI status and ROAs, plus the technical support contacts. Prefixes must be registered correctly and authorised for the intended announcement.
Handover, IP addressing, ASN, prefix list, BGP parameters and the test procedure are documented.
Existing transits, routing preferences, cutover and rollback planning are agreed together.
