Network engineering

Design and operation of demanding networks.

We design and operate routing, switching and datacenter networks for businesses, service providers and technical platform operators. Existing customer hardware and operational processes can be incorporated.

Datacenter fabrics and routing

EVPN/VXLAN

Leaf-spine fabrics with a BGP underlay and EVPN/VXLAN overlay for segmented Layer 2 and Layer 3 services.

BGP & routing policy

eBGP, iBGP, prefix filters, communities, RPKI, resilience and controlled routing changes.

Switching & VLANs

VLAN design, trunks, MLAG or comparable resilience mechanisms, and integration of existing systems.

Customer hardware

Build and operation on existing switches and routers where the platform and support model are suitable.

Datacenter interconnects and optical systems

We design connections between racks and datacenters from the optical path through to logical resilience.

Passive DWDM

Wavelength planning, optics, power budget, patch routes and documentation for passive multiplexer links.

Collapsed core

Designs in which systems reach the local core directly and retain an additional path through the second datacenter.

LACP & resilience

Port channels across suitable paths, failure testing and defined behaviour during link, device or site failures.

Managed network operations and consulting

We handle changes, troubleshooting, maintenance planning, documentation and agreed on-call cover. Consulting can include architecture, reviews, migrations or support for an existing engineering team.
